Cape Hillsborough National Park includes rainforest, eucalypt forest, beaches, rocky headlands covered in hoop pines, and volcanic rock formations. Visitors can camp and bushwalk. A marine park adjoins.
Smalleys Beach is a secluded getaway where you can lose yourself in nature, meditate, swim, fish and beachcomb. Boats can be launched from the beach.

There is limited room for large caravans, with a very narrow access road.
