St Helens Wharf is where you go for a nice hot shower if you have been camping somewhere. There are also toilets and information. Fishing opportunities include charters or wharf fishing.
St Helens is a small town (population 3000 except in tourist season) but it is the largest town on the north east coast boasting the most amount of sunlight hours in Australia. Many coffee shops, small IGA and a large super IGA, bottle shop, hotel, wine bar, 2 service stations, variety of gift shops.

St Helens is known as the 'game fishing capital of Tasmania'. There are fishing tours but on some tours, only one person gets to fish so may be wise to check this out before booking a trip.
