Stanage Bay is a remote, isolated village north of Yeppoon. That is how most people who go there, like it. The fishing is great and you can launch your boat from the boat ramp, but the tide needs to be al least half way up to do so.
The camping ground is basic, with nothing except a toilet. There is some shade and you are right next to the beach.

While you can sometimes get some water here, it is best to bring your own. If you do use the water here, make sure you treat or boil it before drinking.
