Thallon Recreation Reserve provides excellent toilet and shower facilities, with plenty of shade and space. There is room for any size rig here and easy turning space.
After the railway line stopped carrying passengers and freight, Thallon was close to becoming a ghost town, but the plucky locals were not going to lie down and let the town die.

The silos have been painted by a couple of street artists, Drapl (Travis Vinson) and The Zookeeper (Joel Fergie). Their art shows a typical country landscape in full glorious colour.

And a Big Wombat has been erected in the town to help bring tourists and keep the town alive.

Power and showers $5.50 per unit. HOT showers even from the cold taps in the summer. Water here contains sulphur etc. Power for about 25 units but only at 3 poles so latecomers at busy times might have problems accessing it.
