Driving Directions

6km dirt road off the Stuart Highway, usually suitable for 2WD vehicles if you take your time.

Turn west off highway at waypoint, 180m north of Telegraph Station (opposite side of highway) and 12.6km south of Threeways.

Travel 4km then turn left at junction and travel 2km.

The Pebbles, also know as Kunjarra can be found north of Tennant Creek. It is a sacred site for the Waramungu people, a significant women’s dancing place for Munga Munga Dreaming.
This is a free overnight camp with no specific time limit. There is plenty of space for big rigs.

Be aware there are feral cats – one lady last saw her steak being carried off by two grateful cats. The best photos are to be had at sunset.
