Wallam Creek Rest Area is a free overnighter on the bank of Wallum Creek. Plenty of room and easy in and out. There is a very clean and rather new toilet block with a toilet and wash basin.
Plenty of space for many camps and down at the toilet end, there are some picnic table and seats. There are serviced rubbish bins and an abundance of shade. It is a great spot.

There is a walking/bike track around camp area and into town with fitness stations also provided. At end of path there are hot clean showers.

Aboriginal art painted by a local Artist enhance the area. There are designated fireplaces and an area that supplies feed for the native ducks.

There is a laundromat in town next to General Store, which provides friendly service and sells groceries. Here you can make your own coffee and there is a display of old shearing gear in room off the store.
