Wingham Riverside Reserve is located at the eastern end of Farquar Street in Wingham. 'Freedom Camping' overnight for self contained vehicles. Free electric BBQs. Toilets are open 24/7. Boating, fishing, swimming, picnic area.
There are two BBQ shelters each with 2 x electric plates and two picnic tables with benches beneath. There is a powerpoint for a kettle and a tap for freshwater. At the edge of the Manning River there is a boat ramp with attached pontoon. There is sufficient room for up to 15 vans.

Wingham Riverside Reserve is a Council site and major maintenance is carried out by MidCoast Council. However, the friendly volunteers from the Wingham Advancement Group (WAG) 'meet & greet' visitors every night and provide a 'briefing note' with essential information on safety, the location of the laundry & dump point, and tourist information - brochures and local experience - and local history.

The WAG representative also visits about 6.30 am every morning to clean up if required (you might like to help and have a chat), check the area and welcome visitors who may have arrived during the night.

As with any location there are occasional 'social issues'. Please call the Police or our WAG representative to resolve the problem. By doing this you are helping us to provide you and others with an enjoyable stay.

WAG also requests you keep your receipts from town and place them in our Donations Box to provide us with information on how much 'overnighters' spend in Wingham. You never know when we might need these statistics! And, if you're inclined you might like to leave WAG a donation to show your appreciation and help us to improve and maintain the area.

Adjacent to Wingham Riverside Reserve there is a large grassed area for picnics and a small copse of trees with a mosaic seat that is Mick Tuck Memorial Reserve.
