Yowie Park Kilcoy is a day rest area with a difference. With an Information Centre at one and of the park, coffee and food vendors and a playground for the kids, this enjoyable space has plenty of room and something for everyone.
A modern unisex toilet facility with disabled access has been installed, (see pic) while the old toilet block has been demolished and the area grassed over. The Historical Courhouse Gallery which is wheelchair friendly is open on weekends and public holidays (see pic).

Access to Kilcoy Creek is via walking paths, a little of which is wheelchair friendly.

Yowie Park is named after the Australian equivalent of the American Bigfoot. Yowie sightings persist in the hills around Kilcoy. A lifesize wood carving is erected at the park.

The Coffee/drinks van at the park uses 'Yowie Coffee' which is also packaged for sale. The van operates Thursday to Sunday. Hot and cold food etc is also available across the Highway at both the bakery and BP Roadhouse.

The park adjoins the public swimming pool.
