Woolgoolga's architectural landmark is Guru Nanak Sikh Temple, a huge and imposing white structure, that's the town's main attraction. It was built by the town's Sikh residents whose ancestors travelled to the North Coast around the time of Australian Federation. Today, you can visit the temple, enjoy authentic Punjabi cooking in local restaurants and enjoy cultural performances plus great food at Woolgoolga Curryfest, held each Easter.
Coffs Harbour is a compact beachside city in the heart of NSW banana country. A popular tourist destination and the hub of the mid north coast.
At the southern end of Coffs Coast, the gateway to the Waterfall Way is just north of Urunga. This road runs all the way to Armidale in the New England Ranges. As it reaches the top of the escarpment it passes through the mountaintop town of Dorrigo, home of the World Heritage Dorrigo Rainforest. Here you can walk out among the treetops on the Rainforest Skywalk.
