Bemm River Rest Area is a nice rest area, but only suitable for for small RV's. It is set among the forest not far off the highway. There are toilets, picnic tables and bins.

Snowy River Rest Area No 1 is a pleasant place for overnight stop on the banks of the river, there is space for several vehicles and enough for big rigs. Whilst there are two tables with seats there are no toilet facilities.

The Anglers Rest Camping Area is a great place to base yourself to explore the high country of Victoria. Catch a trout for dinner, or wander down to the Blue Duck Inn for a cold beer.

The Victoria Falls Camping Area in the Alpine National Park is a nice campground with grassy area and suitable for caravans. It is worth giving a miss in the colder months as the brass monkeys take over.
